Variations of a Separation

A play of light, surface and memory, in which the body becomes a projection surface for separation.

In this version of Variations of a Separation, the body itself becomes the canvas. Light, glass, and transparent or refracting materials meet skin. The projections create a world of fragmented images: reflections, scatterings, shadows.

The performer moves through these landscapes of light, causing shifts, disruptions and new layerings.

Here the focus is less on directly translating data than on a visual and material narrative of closeness, loss and transformation. The performance works with the sensuality of the medium. Light meets skin, movement and atmosphere, creating spaces in which separation becomes visible and fleeting at once.
