Reenacting the Kitchen Debate

An artistic research project drawing on the 1959 Kitchen Debate and on personal stories from the Cold War era and today. Using performance, motion tracking and tactile technology, it translates body language into touch, revealing how longing, lack and desire are engineered below the threshold of language.
